Slot Missions in Hogwarts

Slot missions are an excellent opportunity to earn equipment weapons, gear and more. They're hard to complete.

In this video slot, which was inspired by Jackie Chan, you can join a group of fighters that are looking to earn money and pardons. Help them to free captured generals. Earn up to 50,000x per line.

Concealed Weapon Slot

The concealed weapon slot is a unique slot that allows you to carry pistols into an operation. Some players utilize this slot to aid in achieving certain goals particularly those who are going for Suit Only. Some prefer having the extra pistol as an additional gap. When you use this slot, you need to remember that you will need to click on the corresponding pistol category button, for instance the alternate slot 2 for machine guns, in order to select the appropriate category. Major Expedition and Adept Rider are active, which makes it much easier to use. This combo also adds an attack tick from the Concealed Weapon every 10 seconds so long as you have it slotted.

Slot for items that are smuggled

The smuggled item slot is a great feature that allows players to bring weapons and other tools into the game, but it can be improved. It's currently shaped as the shape of a pistol, making it difficult to differentiate the smuggled weapon slot from other slots for gear.

The smuggle slot is able to hold an array of objects, ranging from simple concussion devices to weapons-grade explosives. These items are hidden in inconspicuous places around the map and are able to be retrieved at any time. Smuggled items are different from Agency Pickups or Hidden Stashes which hide only small objects in scenery and objects.

Mission planning is a feature available in the form of episodic missions. It lets players discover different starting points, smuggled objects, and gear slots prior to stepping into the map. As slot themes through challenges and unlock new Mission Mastery levels, these options for planning expand. This allows players the ability to design the perfect mission for every challenge.

Gear Slot

The gear slots will rapidly fill up in the early stages of the game, leading to the common message "Your Gear Slots Are Full". This message stops Max to pick new equipment until the previous items are taken away or space has been accumulated. Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials are the solution to this problem. They provide more inventory space to complete challenges missions. However, as the majority of these challenges are scattered throughout the world and could be missed, it can take some time to get the maximum number of inventory slots that are available in the game.

Five Gear Slots can be filled with up to 5 different types of gear. These must be selected from the Gear Selection menu before a break-in begins. Each gear item (except for the Pistol) will take up one Gear Slot, while a grouping of similar items (such as Grenades in a grouping) only takes up one Gear Slot.

Agents can pick up the passengers.

As you progress through the Mission Mastery levels you unlock different agency pickups on the map. These locations let you store an item that does not fit in your slot for weapons or gear and then retrieve it later.

These pickups are especially useful if you have to pass through a frisk in the course of the game, or if you are carrying a weapon that might otherwise cause suspicion. You are only able to hide only one item at a pick-up location.

This DLC adds new contracts for asset protection and security to the agency. Talk to the receptionist at the agency and stock up on snacks and other items. Once you've reached the marker you can identify a crowd when you arrive.
