Counter Strike New Revealed

After months of rumors, Valve has finally revealed Counter Strike new. It's an update for CS:GO that will put the game on the Source 2 engine and make some major visual changes.

It also introduces sub-tick server updates and responsive smoke grenades. It has got a lot of armchair gamers going crazy but it looks like a huge upgrade for regular players.

Smokes

Counter Strike New has a huge update that will change the way smokes function in the game. These changes, known as responsive smokes, will be a game changer. Smokes will expand to fill in spaces and move around objects on the map. They will also respond to the lighting of the games, making them appear more real. Smokes will also interact with gameplay events. This will create new tactical opportunities. For instance, bullets can force smoke to briefly clear sightlines and Hex grenade explosions will disperse smoke obstruction.

Smokes are now more dynamic in the game. Smokes in previous versions were a fixed shape that was limited in the distance they could travel and how much vision they blocked. The new smokes will fill the space they are located and make it harder for players to see vision when they are there. This is a major upgrade that will make the game more dynamic and give both sides the same level of visibility.

Smokes react to the light, weapons, and surroundings of the world. This will make smoke more realistic and offer players different ways to use it to gain an edge over their opponents. This is particularly useful during the chaotic matches that will take place on every map.

Smokes are no longer a one-way. This was a major issue in CSGO, since it allowed players to see the location of their opponents behind the smoke. Twistzz is a popular CS:GO professional who says the new system makes CS2 more fair for both teams.

Other minor changes include adjusting the vertical position of smoke particles to prevent the visibility of edges and changing the smoke overlay images to match their camera position. The expiration of smokes was adjusted to be in line with the visuals on the screen.

Loadouts

The CS:GO players are now able to alter their weapon selection prior to the start of each game. The revamped loadout system allows players to choose the weapon that best match their playstyle and team's strategies. The updated system also adds new tactical depth to the game since players must be able to balance firepower and utility.

In addition to the new loadouts In addition to the new loadouts CS: GO update includes many other improvements and changes. The buy menu was completely revamped. The old buy wheel has been replaced with an adjustable grid that shows all options for purchase simultaneously. The grid has been filled with five pistols and five "mid-tier" weapons, such as submachine guns and shotguns as well as five rifles and carbines.

The new system is simple to use and will give players more control over their weapon selection. It will let them choose the weapons that suit their playstyle and team strategy the best, aswell as experiment with different combinations. It also allows players to test their abilities against other players' loadouts and find out how they compare.

While many players are pleased with the additional flexibility, others have been critical of it for straying from the essence of Counter-Strike. They also expressed concern over the impact it will have on agents' skins and loadouts specific to the map based upon visibility.

However, despite these criticisms However, it is important to note that the new loadout system is still in its infancy, and will undergo more extensive testing over the next few months. It is possible that certain issues could be addressed in future updates, so it is vital to keep an eye out for further information.

Workshop Tools are included in the update, and can be enabled from the settings menu. This allows community contributors to design weapons finishes and stickers as well as maps. In addition, the update will now live ban players who break VAC guidelines during matches.

The new CS: GO update is set to be released later this summer. Players can check out the full list of updates and features by visiting the official CS: GO website.

Sub-Tick Updates

The world of Counter-Strike is constantly updated by the server in discrete time increments called ticks. The smallest delay between a tick and a mouse click of a player could have an impact on the accuracy of a shot, so Valve is working to ensure that CS: GO feels responsive and smooth. A new video highlights the most significant improvements to the game, also known as sub tick updates.

Instead of the 64-tick update that occurs every millisecond, the CS: GO will now be able to use sub-ticks (or as Valve calls them, "micro-ticks") to communicate with the server. Each of these tiny increments of time will be recorded by the client and sent to the server, which will then send back the latest game state to players. The servers will now know exactly moment you fired your shot, jumped, peeked and other inputs.

Although a minute-long video may not enough to fully explain everything the video explains every piece of data sent by a client has an associated time stamp, and that the server will gather all data from all players in chronological order before sending it back. According to the video a CS: GO will be capable of sending twice the data as 64-tick CS: GO.

This means that even when the tick rate of the game increased to 128 Hz, it will still be able handle your commands instantly. And it's not just about increasing the tick rate either; micro-tick updates can reduce input lag and latency by ensuring that the server will respond to your actions with no delays or glitches.

Valve's technical enhancements to the game are just the beginning. The company is implementing dynamic smoke and particle systems to improve how smoke interacts with the environment and is upgrading all of the maps with high-resolution lighting, textures, and models. All CS: GO cosmetics and weapons will be updated with Source 2 tools and features.

Maps

The new update coming to Counter Strike New will bring new maps to the game, alongside a few classics which are getting facelifts. These updates are currently being tested in a limited-test beta. The first set of maps include touchstone and upgrade maps that will not see major changes to gameplay, whereas others have been completely revamped or rebuilt using the latest Source 2 tools.

Of these, Overpass has been revamped to take advantage of the engine's new unified lighting system. The map's eerie underground has been flooded with daylight to make it more spacious and less overcrowded. Additionally, smoke grenades will now expand dynamically to fill in spaces and interact with the new light.

Italy is a different map that has been overhauled. Its texture, lighting and structure have all been significantly improved. The new version is more balanced than the previous version, which was heavily CT oriented. Fans can expect a few more classics, including Aztec and Militia which will be updated in the near future.

These maps will not be added to the competitive map pool despite the fact that they are still playable. The only exception is Train, which has been removed from Active Duty and will continue to be played in tournaments. Valve hasn't yet decided whether the other maps taken from the pool will be reintroduced.

Among the more controversial updates is one that was created by Helsingin Sanomat, Finland's national newspaper. The news organization has been vocal in its criticism of Russia's actions in Ukraine, and the map takes inspiration from the war-torn city of Donetsk. cs2 cases is called de_voyna and contains numerous references to the conflict.

In the future the developer will be releasing a collection of Source 2 tools for community map creators to utilize in their own designs. This will include features such as improved lighting and character read as well as physical-based rendering that creates realistic textures, materials and reflections. It will also make it easier to implement real-world objects like doors and windows. The update is expected to be released sometime in the summer.
