The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a great choice if you're looking for a mid-priced mop and robot vacuum. It's a great mopping performance but lacks some of the features of its more expensive counterpart.

During testing it was able to remove pet hair and dry oats from carpets with a medium pile. But, unlike cheaper models, it doesn't employ LIDAR to determine the layout of your home.

Roomba s9+ iRobot from iRobot

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is among the most highly-rated robots. It is a powerful cleaner and plenty of features such as an automatic dirt bin built into its charging base. This robot can also learn your cleaning habits and suggest schedules that are automatic to provide a hands-free and effortless experience.

It's easy to set up thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the procedure. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automatic cleaning functions at the click of the button. You can choose an overall clean, which prioritizes the removal of larger particles like cereal and rice. You can also select two detailed mappings to ensure that your home is cleaned thoroughly.

This robot vacuum performs well on both floors with no carpet and carpets with a low pile. It is able to pick up pet hair and sucks big objects up. It doesn't lose suction as quickly as other robot vacuums. It's not able to work with high-pile carpets or plush carpets however iRobot claims that future models will be better.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot that is focused on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt an open-fronted, flat-fronted design, which it hopes will allow it to fit into furniture and walls. It's a step up from the hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are standard, but we found it to be just marginally superior to circular models.

iRobot also claims the S9+ comes with an improved filtering system that blocks microscopic dust particles and allergens from recirculating throughout your home. It's a nice claim, however, we're not convinced it's enough to justify the high price cost.

Its smart navigation system employs sensors that remember your home's layout and vSLAM technology for mapping the interior. This allows it to stay clear of obstacles, such as staircases and other barriers, and also to clean your entire home efficiently possible. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and set cleaning times, and set up virtual boundaries, so it knows to avoid areas that need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it comes to robots that combine vacuuming and mopping the Roborock Q Revo is a standout. Its vacuum settings are just as effective as those found on more expensive models. Its mopping system is even better as its spinning pads clean your floors more efficiently than a vibrating pad.

It's only downside is the absence of a second brush for deeper cleaning. However, that's not a major issue when you're looking to purchase one of the best robots on the market. The dust tank on the robovac is bigger than most of its competitors and filling it up only takes two or three cycles, even when you have maximum dirt.

For the mopping system, I was amazed by its ability to scrub tough dirt off my floors. The two mopping modes that it has, which are less aggressive than the higher-powered ones produce minimal noise, allowing you to work or watch TV without distraction. It will gently hit furniture or walls and then move away if it comes across one.

The Q Revo is unique in that it runs almost completely on its own, with no user involvement. The dock of the robo-vac has multiple functions and will automatically move trash into a hidden bin. It also cleans and dries the clean water tank. The app is adept at nagging you only when something is in need of attention, for example, the water tank that is running out of clean or a scheduled cleaning session that was cancelled because of a full dust bin.

You can also create or combine actual rooms to personalize the way Q Revo handles your home. This feature is useful when you have different flooring in different areas of your home, or when you have to frequently get rid of clutter like clothes, toys and books. The robo-vac was also one of the top performers in my tests and was able to remove debris from carpets and hardwood floors on the first attempt. It can vacuum up even wet spills. I recommend drying the area with a towel prior to sending it to.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum that has all the features you can wish for. It has a rotating mop and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets as well as hard floors. It is similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also comes with an auto-cleaning base station that automatically empty and cleans the mop pads, keeping them clean and ready for use again. It also has a sensor that can detect obstacles better and prevents it from falling on furniture and other objects.

The biggest improvement over the ECOVACS The X1 Deebot is the modern, sleeker design. This is thanks to Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. The robot is still quite large. It measures over two feet in the height and depth and weighs nearly four pounds. However, the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This model is more efficient than the X1 since it charges faster and can clean up 1,500 square feet in a single charge. Additionally, it comes with a larger dustbin that is more durable to hold more debris and is easier to empty when needed.

The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant as well as an app that can be used even if you are not at home. It also comes with a smart routing function that allows it to clean specific areas or rooms of your home instead of following a set path.

The X2 Omni has the top mopping performance of any robot we've tested, due to its mop pads that rotate to clean tough stains away and a motor that generates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming capabilities are excellent as well, and it boosts suction when it detects carpet to ensure it does an excellent job. It also has a huge battery that can last for weeks between charges, and its mopping mode is as powerful as any we've seen in a consumer-grade robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot mop and vacuum is a high-end model that comes with a variety of features that aren't often found on robots of this price. It can create detailed floor maps and detect different flooring types. It's also among the only robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. While these features are nice to have however, they also push the L10s Ultra into the category of luxury which could make it a little more expensive than the average homeowner require.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It is tall and slim, with a white finish accented with silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is adorned with an enormous bumper that shields the furniture and vacuum cleaner while moving around your home. Behind the pane at the front is a second navigation technology that is comprised of sensors that aid the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum, there is a single button that is used as an on/off switch. By pressing this button, you can activate the vacuum, and clicking it again will turn off the vacuum and return it to its base station. robot vacuum sale at the center of the control panel lets you to choose cleaning modes or schedules, as well as preferences. The left and right buttons below the screen will open up the app's settings menu where you can modify how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination LIDAR and cameras-based navigation technology to map your home. This creates a precise floor plan that helps the robot vacuum and mop effectively, without getting stuck in cluttered areas. The LIDAR assists the robot vacuum to avoid obstacles and recognize them and avoid them, which is a great feature for homes with pets or small children.

The L10s Ultra has a solid vacuuming capability, clearing 98.4 percent of the debris from our hardwood floor test and taking out all but the most difficult juice stain. smart cleaning are also quite efficient, taking away 98.4% of debris on our wood, tile, and carpet tests. However, it wasn't as efficient in dealing with sand on the floor or the quaker oats that are on carpet.
