The first step is to remove the old cover from your key. This needs to be removed before the new cover can be installed.

After you have removed the cover after removing the old cover, you can use a flathead to pry the four main attachment clips from the driver side of the fob assembly. These are highlighted in red on the photo below. Also, note the tabs for locating slots shown in yellow that need to be disconnected as well.

After removing the battery, replace it with a new # CR2032 3 Volt coin cell battery. Make sure that the "+" positive side of the battery is aligned to the opening on the fob and that the"-" negative side is facing towards the rubber buttons.

Press the button at the front of the key. If everything is functioning properly, the parking lights should be turned on and the doors will close.
