Counter Strike New Revealed

Valve finally revealed Counter Strike New after weeks of rumors. It's a major update to CS:GO which will bring it onto the Source 2 engine.

It also introduces the ability to use smoke grenades that respond and sub-tick updates for servers. It has got a lot of armchair gamers going crazy but it is an incredible upgrade for regular players.

Smokes

Counter Strike New is getting an update that will fundamentally alter the way smokes are used in the game. These changes, dubbed responsive smokes, are a game changer. Smokes will now expand to fill spaces naturally and move around different objects on the map. They will also respond to the lighting in the games, making them look more realistic. Smokes will also interact with events in the game. This will create new opportunities for tactical play. For example, bullets will force smoke to briefly clear sightlines, and explosions from hex grenades will disperse smoke occlusion.

Smokes will be more dynamic in the game. In the past, smokes were a fixed shape that was limited in terms of how far they could go and the amount of vision it blocked. Smokes of the new design will fill the space where they are located and hinder a player's vision when they are in place. This is a major improvement that will make the game more dynamic and will give both teams the same visibility.

In addition to this, smokes will now react to the surroundings weapons, lighting, and environment in the world. This will make smoke more realistic and give players to use it to gain an edge over their opponents. This will be especially useful in the chaotic games that will take place on every map.

Smokes are no longer one-way. This was a major issue in CSGO, as it allowed players to see the position of their opponent behind the smoke. Twistzz is a well-known CS:GO professional, says the new system is an enormous improvement for players in competitive CS2 and makes it more fair for both teams.

Other minor changes include adjusting the vertical position of smoke particles to reduce the possibility of seeing through edges, and also updating the smoke overlay images to match their camera position. The expiration time of smokes was changed to match the visuals on screen.

Loadouts

The players of CS:GO are able to customize their weapon choice before the start of every match. The new loadout system allows players to choose the weapon that best suit their playstyle and team's strategy. The new system also brings new tactical depth to the game, as players must balance firepower and utility.

The CS: GO Update includes several other enhancements and changes in addition to the brand new loadouts. The most important is that the buy menu has been completely overhauled. The old buy wheel has been replaced with a customizable grid that shows all options for purchase simultaneously. The grid has been populated with five pistols and five "mid-tier" weapons such as shotguns and submachine guns, and five rifles and carbines.

The new system is easy to use and gives players more control over their weapon selection. It will let them pick the weapons that fit their playstyle and team strategy the most, as well to experiment with various combinations. It also allows them to test out their skills against other players' loadouts and find out how they compare.

While many players are pleased with the additional flexibility, others have criticized it for deviating from the essence of Counter-Strike. They also expressed concerns about how it would impact agents' skins and loadouts specific to the map that are based on visibility.

Despite these concerns However, it is important to keep in mind that the new loadout system is in its infancy and will undergo more extensive testing in the coming months. It is possible that some of these issues may be addressed in future updates, so it is essential to stay tuned for more information.

In addition to the new CS: GO features, the new update also includes Workshop Tools, which can be enabled in the game's settings menu and enable community contributors to design weapon finishes, stickers, and maps. In addition the update will live ban players who violate VAC guidelines during matches.

The latest CS: GO update is scheduled to release later this summer. Players can now check out the complete list of features and upgrades by visiting the official CS: GO site.

Sub-Tick Updates

The server updates the world of Counter-Strike in small intervals of time, referred to as ticks. Valve is determined to ensure that CS: GO is fast and smooth. The smallest delay can alter the accuracy of an attack. A new video highlights one of the biggest under-the-hood enhancements, also known as sub-tick updates.

Rather than the 64-tick update that occurs every millisecond, CS GO will now be able use sub-ticks (or as Valve calls them, "micro-ticks") to communicate with the server. Each of these small increments of time will be recorded by the client, and then transmitted to the server, which will send back the updated game state to players. The servers will now know the exact moment you fired your shot and jumped, swung, and other inputs.

Although a minute-long video may not enough to cover everything, the video explains that every piece of information sent by a client has an associated time stamp, and that the server will gather all the data from all players in chronological order prior to sending it back. According to the video, a CS: GO will be able send twice as much data than a 64-tick CS: GO.

That means that if the game's tick rate increases to 128 Hz, it will still be able to respond to your commands instantly and continuously. It's not solely about increasing the tick rate, also, the micro-tick updates will also reduce latency and input lag by guaranteeing that the server will respond to your actions with no delays or glitches.

Obviously, this is only the beginning of the technical improvements Valve is making to the game. The company is using particles and dynamic smoke to improve the way smoke interacts with its surroundings. It's also upgrading all maps with high-resolution lighting, textures, and models. All CS weapons and cosmetics will also get a makeover using Source 2 tools and features.

Maps

The coming update for Counter Strike New will bring new maps to the game alongside a few classics which are getting facelifts. These updates are being tested in an unspecified beta. The first set of maps comprises touchstone and upgrade maps that won't see major changes to gameplay, whereas others have been completely rebuilt or overhauled with the new Source 2 tools.

Overpass is one of these maps that has been modified to benefit from the new engine's unified lighting system. The map's dark underground has been flooded with daylight, making it more spacious and less overcrowded. In cs2 case opening are now able to expand dynamically to fill in spaces and interact with the new light.

Italy is a different map that has been overhauled. Its texture, lighting, and structure have all been greatly improved. The new version is more balanced than its predecessor that was heavily CT-oriented. In the future fans can expect to see classics like Aztec and Militia redesigned.

While a lot of these maps are playable in other modes, they're no longer added to the competitive map pool. Train is the only exception since it was removed from Active Duty but will still be played in tournaments. Valve hasn't yet confirmed whether the other maps taken from the pool will be added back.

Helsingin Sanomat is the national newspaper of Finland. The change has been criticized as controversial. The newspaper has been a vocal critic of Russia's actions in Ukraine and the map takes inspiration from the city that was devastated by war in Donetsk. The map is called de_voyna, and contains a range of references to the war.

In the near future the developer will soon be releasing a set of Source 2 tools for community map makers to use in their own creations. This will include features like improved lighting and character reading, as well physical-based rendering systems that creates realistic materials and textures. It will also make real-world objects, like doors and windows, simpler to implement. The update is scheduled to be released sometime in the summer.
