Mesothelioma - An Asbestos Illness

Mesothelioma is a rare form of cancer that develops in the linings of protection for certain organs. It usually develops in the lungs (pleura) but can also be found in the chest wall or abdomen, or even in the testes.

People who have been exposed to asbestos for a long time and at high levels are at the risk of developing this disease. It can take between 10 to 50 years for mesothelioma to manifest symptoms.

Signs and symptoms

Mesothelioma, a cancerous tumor that affects some organs in the body, is usually caused by asbestos exposure.
