Samsung's fridge has been around for a few years now and, even though it provides a decent amount of functionality, the touchscreen smarts don't really stand out as a must-have feature for most people. They're more fun and semi-frivolous features than anything else.

This could change as more software updates are released, but for now these models are best for those looking for the most complete connected fridge possible. You could save money by purchasing an appliance without the Family Hub if you're not one of these people. It could be worth it when you have a number of smart home devices that require control via the same screen or if you just enjoy the idea of having a fridge with a giant touchscreen.
