Fairtrade Machu Picchu Coffee Beans 1kg

The chocolatey and nutty flavor of this Fairtrade coffee is made using organic beans that are grown at high altitudes within the Inca heartland of the Andes. It has a smooth, rich taste with overtones similar to fine dark chocolate.

This is an all-bean coffee that is suitable for any filter, pump or manual cafetiere coffee machines. A 227g bag usually makes 30 cups.

Organic

The nutty, mellow chocolatey flavors of this coffee originate from its high-altitude home deep in the Inca heartland. This Fairtrade Organic & Soil Association certified coffee is grown at 1,400 metres above sea level in the Chanchamayo province of Peru where Arabica Caturra, Typica and Pache varieties are grown according to Washed Process standards without the use of chemical fertilisers and pesticides.

These organic and fair trade coffee beans are hand-picked on the slopes of the Andes and then expertly roasted to give a full-bodied flavor. The nutty flavors, combined with dark chocolate undertones will make you want to get out of the bed each morning.

750g bags are perfect for cafetieres, filter machines, as well as jugs. The coffee is ground to suit the equipment so follow the instructions on your machine to determine how much coffee to brew.

Brewing cafetiere: Place 1 heaped tablespoon of ground coffee into your cafetiere, then pour the water evenly over the grounds. Allow it to steep for 4 minutes. Serve and take a sip.
