Slot Missions in Hogwarts

Slot missions are a great opportunity to earn equipment weapons, equipment and much more. They're not easy to complete.

Concealed Weapon Slot





The concealed weapon slot is a special slot that lets you carry pistols into a mission. Some players employ it to help attain certain goals, particularly those who want to achieve Suit Only. Others prefer to have the extra pistol as a gap closer. When you use this slot, you need to remember that you will have to click the corresponding pistol category button, for instance the alternate slot 2 for machine guns, in order to select the category of your choice. Major Expedition and Adept Rider are active, which makes it simpler to use. This combo increases the damage tick every 10 seconds from the concealed Weapon for as long as it is positioned.

Slot for items that are smuggled

The smuggled items slot is an excellent option for allowing players to bring weapons and tools, but it could be improved with a better affordance. It's currently designed as an a gun, which makes it hard to distinguish the smuggled item slot from other gear slots.

The smuggle slot is able to hold a large variety of items, from subtle concussion devices to weapons-grade explosives. These items are hidden in a hidden location on the map and are able to be recovered at any moment. The items that are smuggled differ from Agency Pickups or Hidden Stashes which hide only small items in the scenery or objects.

Mission planning is an option in the form of episodic missions. It allows players to discover different starting points, smuggled objects and gear slots prior to stepping into the map. These planning options increase as players advance through challenges and gain higher Mission Mastery levels. This allows players to prepare the perfect mission for every challenge.

Gear Slot

Early on in the game players will notice their gear slots get full, resulting in the frequently-repeated "Your Gear Slots are Full" message, which blocks Max from picking new equipment until old items are removed or space is obtained. The solution is the Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials which provide more inventory space in exchange for the completion of challenging missions. Since many of these challenges can be missed and are scattered around the world, it may take a while to reach the maximum number inventory slots in the game.

Each player can have up to five different types of gear in their five Gear Slots. These are to be selected from the Gear Selection menu prior to the break-in. Each individual gear item (except the Pistol) takes up one Gear Slot while a set of similar items (like a group of Grenades that are of the same type) only uses one Gear Slot.

Agency Pickups

As you progress in Mission Mastery levels, you unlock various agency pickups throughout the map. These locations allow you to store items that do not fit into your concealed weapon or gear slots and then retrieve it later.

These pick-ups can be useful in situations where your job requires you to go through a frisk, or if you have a weapon on you that could cause suspicion. Rainbet are only able to hide one item in a pickup location.

This DLC adds new contracts to asset protection and security to the agency. Contact the receptionist at the agency and stock up on snacks and other items. Then, head to the designated marker and identify a mob upon arrival.
