Easy to install

The original cover must be removed before the new one cover can be fitted.

After removing the cover You can then use a flathead for prying the four major attachment clips from the driver side of the fob assembly. These are highlighted in red on the picture below. Be aware of the yellow locating tabs, which must be disconnected.

Replace the old battery with a #CR2032 coin cell battery. Make sure that the "+" positive side of the battery is pointing to the opening of the fob and that the -" negative side is facing towards the buttons made of rubber.

Re-attach the passenger side mirror cover by aligning the tabs that locate it. After you've completed this, insert the driver side fob back in your car and test it by pressing the button on the front of the car key. If everything is working properly the car should turn on the parking lights, and the doors will automatically lock.
