This upgrade is included in the $1200 Convenience package that you will receive if you own a new Jaguar XE S, XE R Dynamic or XE R-Dynamic. This upgrade will give you the option of using your Jaguar Smart Key fob or the buttons on the door handle to unlock the doors of your car and disable the alarm. When you're ready, grab any door handle and put your Smart Key fob on your person.

Your Jaguar Smart Key will also include an icon that lets you lock your doors and activate the alarm or press it twice to "double lock" your vehicle, which requires the use of a key to unlock it or start it even if somebody breaks windows to gain access. There's an unlock icon which will turn on your headlamps for 25 seconds, a luggage icon to unlock your trunk and a red triangle that will activate the panic alarm.

The Jaguar Activity Key

The Jaguar Activity Key is a smart wristband that eliminates the need to carry around your Jaguar key fob from the traditional keychain in your pocket. It's a lightweight and shockproof waterproof wearable that you slip onto your wrist when you're ready to take your adventures to the next level.

The way it works is pretty simple. After you lock your car with the standard key fob in its place and shut all doors, you press and hold your Activity Key up against the "J" of the Jaguar script on the tailgate for 30 seconds. Then your car's hazard lights will flash and the main key fob inside the cabin will be deactivated to ensure that no one is able to gain access to your vehicle.

The Jaguar Keyless Entry System
